Chelsea Wilson is a Melbourne based vocalist, songwriter, broadcaster, DJ and producer. An internationally acclaimed live performer she headlined the Arts Centre Melbourne stage at the Australasian World Music Expo; and made her UK debut at the iconic Glastonbury Festival. In 2023 she was nominated for the Creative Leadership Award at the Australian Women in Music Awards.

Led by Artistic DIrector Chelsea Wilson, Women of Soul is Australia’s premier Collective of female artists. Their award-nominated album ‘Feel Good’ is the first LP in Australia to be 100% composed, produced and performed by an all-female team.

Chelsea Wilson is a recording artist and producer. Her debut “I Hope You’ll Be Very Unhappy Without Me” was lauded #2 Album of the Year on ABC Radio National and nominated for Best Soul Album at The Age Music Victoria Awards. Her follow up LP “Chasing Gold” was nominated for the Australian Music Prize.

Behind the scenes Chelsea is a Festival and Events Manager, Board Director, Broadcaster and Consultant. In 2014 she established her independent music agency House of Valerie Joan, providing a range of artist and label services.

PODCAST

Produced and presented by Chelsea Wilson, the Control Podcast highlights creatives in the music and arts industries through thought provoking and informative discussions. Speakers include Emma Donovan, Clare Bowditch, Deborah Cheetham AO, Tana Douglas and Sally-Ann Gross.
